We interrupt the countdown with this special announcement.
Today is my birthday. As such there will be NO COUNTDOWN... but there will still be blog, calm down guys, put that parang down.
Celebration officially kicked off with dim sum at Crystal Jade Palace. We (Barnyard + 38 sifu + LY) only get one hour to devour all the dim sums as the restaurant's fully booked on Mother's Day. Dim sum's a blast and the below picture summarize all.
Next, it was the Karaoke Session. Barnyard have other activities and thus we split off. 3 more new members join K session - Mo, Minnie and Minnie's housemate. It was my 2nd K session in Lion City. I was so excited I forgot to take picture of the remote control. Actually there was no remote control. It was a touch screen panel. Cool but not user-friendly as you have to crowd around the panel to choose songs. After 3 solid hours of karaoke-ing, my hoarse sore-throat voice evolved into frog croaking sound and subsequently dog-choke-on-bone-sound. Luckily it didn't totally died out yet. After K session 38 sifu and LY bid us farewell.
Dinner's at Watami and 2 more members join, Doraemon and LH. Now question of the day, how many people are seated on the dinner table now? Lost track? There are 8 left including me. Dinner's so so, service's bad but the company's great. Got a cute round birthday cake, just like me :)
I only realize there were just 2 candles after everyone sang the song, made my wish and cut the cake. Mo said, one candle for birthday and one for farewell down under. CHOI~ ~ ~ I am just 18 leh, ka kakaka....!
Last but no least, I also got this quote book from Moo and I would like to share one of the quotes inside.
